Antoni Gandi once said ; “Nothing is invented, for it’s written in nature first. Originality consists of returning to the origin”. This is perhaps a maxim that has over the years guided the operations of the smart device designs which the technological giant Apple has over the years come up with; and indeed over the last decade the company has come up with a series of seamless designs that are simple, easy to use and synchronize when performing normal body functions and hence routines. Dubbed; “the next best thing” at the time of founder and late CEO of the company Steve Jobs, the company has continued to invent more sleeker, powerful and faster designs for the range of smart devices that they develop.

It remains to be seen if the latest addition to the smartphone stable (iPhone X) launched late last week at the Sankara Hotel in Westlands Nairobi will remain true to the tradition of keeping things simple.
