I WANT MY FAMILY BACK!!?

It is with surprising accuracy that philosophers through employing of scientific methodology roped in the replica traits present between the state and it’s single most basic unit ; the family. Albeit a microcosm of the larger society, families provide the stability societies require to develop and thrive; and for most states if not all, the stability of the state is closely linked to the stability of the family units that compose it. Considered a social good, the activities of most families in the pursuit of happiness for the members that comprise it mirror the activities of the state in the provision of services for its inhabitants. A cost benefit analysis of having stable families – cohabiting or legally bound through matrimony reveals a variety of benefits to the state.  Concerned primarily with the collection of taxes, provision of services and consequently maintenance of law and order for the populace it oversees,  states are compelled to protect the family units that compose it to be able  to achieve these objectives in relation to governance while also making adequate provisions to ensure the stability for the family units to thrive. Just like any political entity; corporate body, government or other, a nuclear Family of Father, Mother and Kids indeed with surprising accuracy exhibit exorbitant political proclivities. Economies of Scale and other benefits derived from bulk purchasing or combining of synergies among the different diverse players to derive maximum benefit as portrayed in the activities of Government in business forays strategies or corporate business entities is also seen as essential for families that hope to thrive. Combining of resources in the form of wages, salaries and income earned is an extra boost to the offspring that spring forth from the initial members of the union and relatively guarantees their survival. In the animal kingdom scientists have revealed a number of birds species that bond for life, take equal responsibility in the raising of the chicks, a factor that in turn ensures survival of the species. The animal in man? Or the man in animal? Any member who should wish to take part in a business venture that would expose him/her to a number of risks if he/she engaged in it alone is also mitigated from such risk and like a treasury bill is cushioned from complete loss of sustainable revenue until such a time that the business venture him/her started breaks even. A family is a society’s backbone, let us embrace that as we forge ahead with development matters
