Kenyan journalists will take to the streets today in a protest march demanding the safety of all journalists working in the country. This follows repeated instances of harassment of journalists while performing their duties. A case of a member of a county assembly assaulting a journalist in the Rift Valley region of Kenya and the killing of a journalist the previous week is perhaps to be the spark the has the scribes infuriated.
